They just went one layer down and decided it was enough and never went deeper, can't figure out why. I was making a mineshaft, I told my dwarves to make a 2x3 (or something) staircase and dig it several layers deep. Or do I have to actually wait for the floor to be done and remove it? If that's the case, do I dig it out as I would with any type of rock or anything? I'm sure I'm just missing something, it's probably something that will make me feel very embarassed once I'm told what to do. My dwarves still have to place the floor, is there a way to undo the task kinda like cancel designation when digging? I know this might be a very dumb question but I looked in the menus and checked the wiki and can't figure this one out, I'm sorry. When I went to put tables I realized they couldn't be placed and checked the wiki, I so discovered I just can't put floor and furniture on the same tile. I told my dwarves to make the floor and told them to make it all over the place, now, it sounded logical to me because that's what we do in real life. Hi, I'm a DF noob, I was making a room for my dwarves to eat and spend time together, I thought I'd make this one pretty good looking and make a nice floor with smooth walls.
